About
Hector Clarke is a photographer and marine biologist from the UK. Finding inspiration in cold and dark waters, Hector spends most of his time seeking to capture the unique and often overlooked marine life of the British Isles. His diving leans toward the adventurous and exploratory, from being the first person to dive under the ice in a fully frozen Loch Coire an Lochain, the UK's highest lake, to rediscovering a population of leafy seadragons in South Australia that was thought to be extinct.
He was the first to hold the title of British Isles Shark Photographer of the Year and has been awarded in competitions such as Underwater Photographer of the Year.
